Editorial cover for Grok Bot pricing 2026 — Premium $30

Key takeaways

  • A new plan that includes Grok Bot starts at Premium, $30 a month or $300 a year. Plus at $8 a month does not include it. Free does not either.
  • Super is $100 a month. Ultra is $200 a month. Teams start at $30 per user. Cursor, Grok, and the Bot share the same weekly usage.
  • An existing Cursor, SuperGrok, or X Premium plan can stay if you do not switch. If two plans are on the account, the Bot uses the one with more usage.
  • There is no Grok Bot-only plan and no separate Bot spending cap. X credits and a Bland phone number are other bills.

A new Grok Bot plan starts at Premium. As of October 2026, that is $30 a month or $300 a year. Plus at $8 a month does not include the Bot. If a Cursor, SuperGrok, or X Premium plan you already have includes it, you can keep that plan.

Premium at $30 is the first new plan with the Bot

These plans are The X Subscription. Free is $0. Plus is $8 a month, or $80 a year (about $7 a month), and it is the introductory plan: Grok chat, not the Bot. Premium is the first new plan that includes the Bot, at $30 a month or $300 a year (about $25 a month), with 4× the Plus usage. Super is $100 a month or $1,000 a year (about $84 a month), with 15× the Plus usage, for daily use of Cursor’s Agent. Ultra is $200 a month or $2,000 a year (about $167 a month), with 50× the Plus usage.

Teams start at $30 per user. On a team, the choices are Premium at $30, Super at $100, and Ultra at $200. Plus is not a team plan. Cloud Agents start on Premium too, the same plan as the Bot.

There is no separate spending cap for the Bot. Limits on extra usage still apply to the whole account. A company that wants Enterprise should ask its Cursor account team first, because access can still differ by organization.

Keep the plan you already have

You can keep a Cursor, SuperGrok, or X Premium plan you already pay for when that plan includes the Bot. You do not have to move to Premium. If both a Cursor plan and a SuperGrok plan are on the account, the Bot uses the one with more usage (xAI’s FAQ).

If the account is still on Privacy Mode (Legacy), turn that off before you start. The Bot needs the cloud computer, and that older setting blocks it.

The same weekly usage after you switch

After you switch, Cursor, Grok, and the Bot share one weekly usage. You do not buy a second amount just for the Bot. When the week runs out, added usage is billed from the model and the token cost.

Models from other companies, used inside Cursor, are not part of that weekly usage. They bill at the API list price from the first use.

Download the app once the plan includes the Bot

Download Grok Bot after the plan includes it. Closing the laptop does not stop work that is already running on the cloud computer.

You can use it on a Mac with Apple silicon or Intel, on Windows, on Linux, on iPhone with iOS 18 or later, and on Android 9 or later. The iPhone app also runs on iPad (xAI’s FAQ). Cursor’s Grok Bot page stops at Mac, Windows, Linux, and iPhone.

Reading Messages on that Mac uses a helper on the Mac. Downloading the app does not turn Messages on.

X credits and a phone number are extra

Bookmarks and direct messages need X credits you buy yourself, separate from this plan. A Bland phone number is a separate phone bill.

A template someone shares does not add a Bot price. You still need a plan that includes the Bot. Grok Ship is one of those templates, and you still approve the merge.

Pick Premium, or keep the plan you have

I’d pick Premium at $30 a month when I am buying a new plan and I want the Bot. Keep the plan you already pay for when it includes the Bot and you do not want to switch. Plus at $8 is where I stay when I only want Grok chat.

How I checked this

This page is what a new Grok Bot plan costs, and when an older plan can stay. I used Cursor’s pricing page, xAI’s Grok Bot FAQ, xAI’s teams page, and Cursor’s Grok Bot docs. I pick by whether you are buying a new plan, then by whether the plan you already have includes the Bot.
