Cursor AI Pricing 2026: Plus $8, Premium $30, or Super $100?

How much does Cursor AI cost? Cursor Free is $0, with limited Agent and Chat. Plus lists $8/month, or $80/year, and does not include Grok Bot. Premium lists $30/month, or $300/year, and does. Super is $100/month for daily Agent. That menu is the AI-native editor—not Claude Code on a Claude plan, and not Copilot on GitHub.

As of October 2026, the pricing page lists Free, Plus, Premium, Super, Ultra, Teams, then Enterprise. You pay for the desktop IDE—Tab, Composer, Agent, Cloud Agents—and for a shared weekly usage pool. Figures below match Cursor’s pricing page. An existing Cursor or SuperGrok plan continues if you do not switch. Those older cards are not this menu.

Each tier changes how far Agent goes before you buy a top-up. Grok Bot starts at Premium.

There is no public universal promo code as of October 2026. You subscribe on the official site.

Plus is the introductory paid seat. New AI users are pointed at Premium. Daily Agent is pointed at Super. Free still stops when the limited Agent allotment runs out. After the weekly pool, you buy a top-up or wait for the reset.

What Premium actually buys

You install a VS Code–based editor and work in folders all day. Tab completes as you type. Composer and Agent handle multi-file edits. Cloud Agents start at Premium and keep going when the laptop is closed.

The included pool is shared across Cursor and Grok, and it refreshes weekly. Inside Grok it covers Chat, Imagine, Voice, and Bot once you are on Premium or above. Plus is Grok models only. Third-party models in Cursor are not in that pool. They bill at API list price from the first use. You can set a spending cap.

Who it’s for

You want one AI-native editor for Tab, Composer, Agent, and Cloud Agents. Free is enough to try. Plus at $8/month is the introductory seat, and it has no Grok Bot. Premium at $30/month is the new-AI-user seat. Super at $100/month is the daily-Agent seat.

Wrong fits

Completions and issue-to-PR in the IDE you already keep, billed on GitHub. That is GitHub Copilot—Pro $10/user/month after Free’s 2,000 completions.

1. Start on Free if limited Agent and Chat cover a real week.
2. Open one repo. Use Tab. Run one Composer edit.
3. Move to Plus at $8/month when you want a paid pool and you do not need Grok Bot.
4. Move to Premium at $30/month when you want Grok Bot or the 4x pool. Move to Super at $100/month when Agent is every day.
5. Buy Teams only when admin, shared billing, or a team seat is why you pay. Seats start at $30/user/month.
